Delta Phi Mu is a Latina-based sorority with multicultural membership, founded by five strong, determined, and courageous young women on August 28, 1991 on the West Lafayette, IN campus. Our sisterhood is built upon a foundation of academic excellence, support, guidance, and assistance to others. Delta Phi Mu Sorority is a non-profit public service organization governed by the principles of Scholarship, Service, and Sisterhood while promoting intercultural exchange. Delta Phi Mu Sorority, Incorporated was founded to unite college women interested in Hispanic culture and multicultural exchange, to encourage and motivate academic achievements, and to promote sisterhood, guidance, love and friendship among the members of the sorority. Delta Phi Mu Sorority, Inc. is continuing to expand to all points of the globe with the hopes of making a difference in the lives of all race, color and creed.
